So we are 10 days from the big day! Things are super nutso, but we are still excited and in good spirits! Definitely on the tired side of life more than anything, but it's a wonderful goal to reach for!

We are expecting a full house, something in the range of 200 people! That's a whole lot of coordination. We are working so very hard to accomodate everyone's needs and concerns, and this is no small feat, so if you have any specific issues that you need help with, please let us know. We are trying to accomodate parking for everyone, but we can only do so much...as we have said over and over, please come early to the locations to make sure that you will have a wonderful experience.

We cannot stress enough CARPOOL CARPOOL CARPOOL!!!!!!

Share a cab, rent a van, whatever....save yourselves some major stress and share the load.

Also, just so that you know, our wedding photos should be available on the web at www.aaronleefineman.com/kngwedding
2 weeks after the big day!

So there you go!!!!

Can't wait to see you soon! We'll keep you updated on other wonderful going-ons around town and the like.

Cheers,

Kiah & Gabriel

So the invitation train is rolling full steam ahead! We are busy, busy, busy getting everything ready to go...it's quite the project! We know that we will be surrounded by people who love and support us, so we know that we are in good hands, no matter what!

We are working on getting some group tickets to the Latino Theater Festival that is hosted by Kiah's work, The Goodman Theatre. It falls during the same time of our festivities, so we will try to get an idea of what shows folks might be interested in getting tickets for. Feel free to check out the Goodman's website, but some late added shows haven't been posted to the online calendar just yet. Tickets are super reasonable, and we can order them in bulk. Keep checking here and the message board for more information.

Both the engagement party and the wedding showers were wonderful! Thank you so much to all of the wonderful people who came through and gave generously! We certainly missed those of you who weren't able to make it...but the wedding is just around the corner! Plenty of opportunities to celebrate together will come up soon. If you were able to join us, and have photos that you would like to share, please post them on our message board.

And another plug for the message board...it is well worth a glance. Check it out, there are opportunities to share rides, share rooms and meet others! I cannot stress enough what a wonderful resource it has the potential to become for all of us! Ask for travel tips from fellow Chicagoans, find out what performances or parties are happening, or just share your thoughts!

Check it out!

So Gabriel got some really good directions for the ceremony site parking lot. Click here to learn more.

Speaking of parking and directions....we recently learned that at the same time and location as our wedding reception, a rather large Carribean festival is scheduled to occur. This seems like a wonderful way to spend that downtime, but it will also mean street closures and detours. So keep in mind that this will affect both traffic and parking for the location. But this is not a crisis! We are working hard with the University of Chicago, U of C Campus police and the festival organizers towards solutions. Keep checking here and on the message boards for updates and detours as we get them.

In general, Chicago is a busy city in the summer, and this weekend is no exception! So unfortunately, expect traffic delays. We strongly suggest carpooling, taxi-cabbing or public-transit hopping to get around. : )

Remember we recommend getting to all locations early to avoid traffic issues, so plan your travel times accordingly!
